Is it actually free, or free until checkout?
Actually free. You write the letter, you verify your email, the finished PDF arrives. No card is asked for at any point. The paid options exist for parents who want the letter printed, sealed, and mailed, and they are offered after your free letter is already yours.
What is the catch?
The free letter is how you find out whether the writing is any good. Some parents print it at home and that is the end of it, happily. Some decide they would rather have it arrive in an envelope with a North Pole postmark. That second group pays for the printing and the postage, and it is what keeps the free letters free.
Why do you need my email address?
It is where the letter goes, and confirming it keeps the letter out of your child's hands until you decide the moment. We use it for your letter and your order. We do not sell it or share it.
Can Santa mention what they asked for?
Yes, and you control it. Tell Santa what to hint at and what to stay quiet about. Most parents have Santa acknowledge the wish without promising it, which keeps Christmas morning yours to manage.
I have three children. Do I do this three times?
Yes, and each one gets their own letter with their own details, because a shared letter is the fastest way for a child to notice something is off. There is no limit and no charge.
What if I want a change after I read it?
Write it again with different answers, as many times as you like, at no cost. Printed orders can be corrected any time before they go to the press.
How late can I leave the printed letter?
Order by December 12 for United States delivery before Christmas. After that the free letter still works. Print it at home on Christmas Eve and no child has ever asked about the postmark.
